About Trinity
Our Pre-School first opened some thirty years ago when it was first known as the St Francis Playgroup, with premises attached to the local St Francis Primary School. As with any other group, it has had some transitional changes, always aiming at improving the provision for our children.Our sessions are usually forty children per session and we comply with the Ofsted adult/child ratios, with regular support from additional voluntary help. All sessions are provided in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (2024), published by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES).
An attractive, interesting and challenging outdoor area
We are a registered charity, run by a Committee of parents. We are a non-profit making organisation, entirely self-financing, and greatly value the input and the assistance of parents with fund-raising ideas and events. All parents are welcome to join the Committee from the day their child joins our group. Suggestions and contributions towards improving our provisions are always welcome.
