Below are our current session times and arrangements, details of the fees and information regarding receiving funding for your child's pre-school time.

Registration fee:
A registration fee of £20.00 is only payable if you wish your child to start before they are eligible for the Early Years Free Entitlement funding. The registration fee is also charged for children attending hours not covered by the funding.

Rates effective from 1st April 2024:

Morning sessions (£31.50 per 3 hour session*)
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 12.00pm

Afternoon sessions (£31.50 per 3 hour session*)
Monday to Friday, 1.00pm to 4.00pm

Lunch care is available for children aged three and above, between 12pm and 1pm. This can be included in the free entitlement funding hours, or will cost £10.50 if in addition to the funded hours.
Parents/carers provide a suitable/healthy packed lunch and drink together with an ice pack.
Pre-school provides care and a great opportunity for children to engage in a very sociable experience. Children also become confident to make their own healthy choices and manage their food independently.

*Pre-School reserves the right to make small adjustments to fees in order to keep in line with KCC funding.*

KCC Free Early Education

Free Early Education (FEE) is automatically available from Kent County Council (KCC) for all 3 year olds from the beginning of the Spring, Summer or Autumn term after a child's third birthday. Children are eligible for up to 15 hours free per week for a total of 38 weeks each year. Trinity Pre-School offers the funding flexibly, which means that the first 15 hours attended per week by eligible children are free. The free hours can now also include lunch sessions. If you are claiming the full 15 hours for your child, these must be taken over 2 days or more. Our hourly fee still applies for: children born after the cut-off date for funding, children attending for more than 15 hours per week, and any weeks we are open outside of the 38 funded weeks.

Some working families may also be eligible for the extended 30 hours funding and we offer a limited number of places for this. To find out if you are eligible for the extended 30 hours funding or any other help with childcare costs, please go to: https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

Free Early Education (FEE) may also be available from KCC for some two year olds, depending on a family's circumstances. For further information please contact Kent Children and Families Information Service on 03000 41 23 23, or your local Children's Centre or go to: https://www.kent.gov.uk/education-and-children/childcare-and-pre-school/free-childcare#

**The Local Authority (KCC) states that that entitlement to Free Early Education does not guarantee an offer of a place at any one provider or a particular pattern of provision
